With temperatures soaring into the substantial 90s/low 100s F these previous couple weeks, this afternoon brought a substantially needed and appreciated rain shower. It also made a gorgeous rainbow that we could notice from our back again patio. Just past the fence line is a mother nature preserve that allows us glimpses of deer, coyotes, bobcats, armadillos, and a host of other wildlife. We feel blessed to phone this minor sanctuary ours. I hope those showers make their way to Houston!! We’re melting down here. 🥵 Pretty sure May 25th was the last time I’ve seen rain. I miss it, terribly.
