  1. Strips of fried pork meat, califlower which was my daughter’s request, and instead of corn bread like I wanted since I have no milk, just buttered up corn.

  6. Hubby made braised short ribs in our Dutch oven. Definitely not a cheap meal, but they were to die for. Mashed potatoes and oven roasted asparagus on the side.

Then I put a small pkg of cheddar cheese in with the noodles and meat .added some milk and butter and a wee bit of sour cream .I boiled the noodles with a Ramen beef pkt.to ramp up the flavor.tasted pretty good

We’re having a casserole of sorts. Cooked chicken drumsticks and turkey neck meat. De boned and spread in a casserole dish. A layer of potatoes and onions. Salt and pepper. Another layer of the meats and potatoes and salt and pepper. A can of cream of chicken soup mixed with 2 cans of milk and 1 of cream. Cover and bake at 350° for at least 1 hour. DON’T LET IT GO DRY. Enjoy with salad and garlic bread

I got some chopped steaks on sale, I seasoned them up, threw them in the oven on 370 for about 25 minutes. I broiled them the last 5 minutes. I steamed some garden squash with salt, pepper and butter in the microwave and we had coleslaw left over from last night. Easy, cheap and good.

  20. BBQ Pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw & potato chips. Pulled pork was cooked back in May 2022 meat was then shrink wrapped & frozen .From a 6 lbs. Boston Pork Butt I got enough meat for 6 meals. This is the second serving of it. Thawed in fridge overnight add BBQ sauce when I heated it up make coleslaw & add chips dinner is done. With us both working meals like this are a life saver.
