Went grocery shopping for 2 adults and 2 teenaged boys. I got 27 pounds of meat plus milk, juice, flour, bread, cheese and canned goods. Everything was on sale or end of date. Spent $210!

In my area I’m able to find deals on meat if you are willing to shop more then one store
Wow! Thats awesome. I’ve gotten really bad at shopping for 2 now that my kids are grown! Gonna have to start being better at it. Prices are horrible and I’m afraid it’s only going to get worse.
That’s how I shop if the meat isn’t on sale or the sell by date tags I don’t get it. I try to set a budget but then I go shopping with my bf and it seems like that budget is out the window. If he knew how much store band he actually ate 🤣
This is how we shop, too. Either discounted or deep sale. There are always the exceptions because my one son gets sushi twice a month (on Wednesdays because it’s $5 at Kroger!!)
