What are the best meals that taste just as good

So I’m down to one vegetable…frozen broccoli. I don’t really like it a ton by it…

So I’m down to one vegetable…frozen broccoli. I don’t really like it a ton by itself so I’d be appreciative of ideas on how to prepare beside boil or microwave/plain….as a side dish. Thanks so much!

  1. I pop it in the microwave for 4 min and add it to penne chicken Alfredo. I’ve even added it to the frozen Stouffers chicken Alfredo after it comes out of the oven. Stir the heated broccoli into the casserole

  2. I roast it in the oven with garlic, pepper, seasoning salt, Paprika, and onion on 425 for 20 to 25 min (I like mine a bit crispier but not soggy)

    I like to chop it up fine and add to rice or pasta or soup. Cheddar broccoli soup is a favorite dish of mine. I often buy a dry soup mix and add broccoli, sometimes I add rice also.

Broccoli, cheese rice, 2 2/3 cup minute rice uncooked, 1/4 cup onion chopped fine, 1/4 celery chopped fine(I don’t care for celery so I don’t use it), one large jar of cheese whiz, one can cream of mushroom soup and 1 stick of butter, 10 oz frozen broccoli. Put cheese whiz, soup and butter in a sauce pan stirring until everything is mixed well. Place soup/cheese, rice, broccoli, onion and celery in a 9 x13 baking dish @ 350 for 45 minutes. Not necessarily cheap due to the cheese whiz but a great side dish.

    Boil in small amount of unsalted water for 3-7 minutes, just until soft but crisp. Drain water well. Coat with Ranch dressing..

    I make chicken Alfredo and put the broccoli in it last to warm through then eat it all together!

    2 cups of cooked white rice
    1 can of cream of mushroom or cream of anything soup
    1 1/2 cups shredded cheese reserve 1/2 cup of the cheese, garlic powder, salt, & pepper
    1 bag of broccoli. Mix all together in a casserole dish and top with 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Cover and back at 350° for 15/20 minutes
    You can add a couple cans of chicken to make a one dish meal

  8. Make a white sauce if you have the ingredients, milk flour and butter. Then put in baking dish with broccoli and sprinkle some cheese over top bake til broccoli is cooked.

    I make what I call broccomoly…… I make it just like guacamole except I use broccoli that I’ve ran thru the food processor with a spoon full of mayo and lemon juice for a min rather than avacado and I also sometimes add shredded cheddar cheese to it. I eat it on Ritz crackers but it’s good with tortilla chips too.

    If you do breakfast for dinner, I like to chop brocolli up and put in an omelette with spicy sausage,cheese diced tomato etc. Spinkle a little feta on top😋

    I like to use broccoli instead of rotini in that one salad that has like, Italian dressing, cheese, olives, deli meat.

Put it in a baking sheet or dish with sides drizzle olive oil over top, add garlic, onion,oatmeal steak seasoning & parmasan cheese mix around so it’s all coated, bake at 375° for about 20ish mins broccoli with get tender & start to brown. Stir it around at least onceid cook time.

    Make a roux with flour and butter, add milk, mix til thickened, place broccoli and cooked pasta with sauce into a oven safe dish then serve ☺️

    Olive Oil and season with whatever you like, and bake till crisp. 400 for 45minsish. Delicious

  15. There is a recipe for broccoli/stuffing casserole. It is very tasty but sorry I don’t have the recipe to share. Maybe Google can help.

    I roast it with salt, pepper, parmesan and I squeeze of lemon juice. Works for fresh or frozen.
