So I cooked two cups of white rice but now can’t decide or find a recipe to make…

So I cooked two cups of white rice but now can’t decide or find a recipe to make with it. No mushrooms or cilantro but other then that we are up for anything. All recipes welcomed!

    Put cream of chicken in it, pout it n a casserole dish, add vegetables, mayb boiled chicken, kielbasa or whatever you want top with cheese bake in oven for about 15 minutes 375 or 350 depending on ur oven… 😊

  3. Butter chicken. Fajita in a bowl. Chicken or prawn fried rice. Mexi rice that you add into enchiladas or burritos. Rice pudding. Make burritos to freeze individually.

    Shrimp fried rice
    Cooked frozen shrimp, thawed.
    Butter
    Green onions
    Rice
    2 eggs
    Soy sauce.

    Chop green onions and saute in butter
    Add thawed shrimp and continue to cook til shrimp tender
    Add rice and make a “well” in center.
    Crack 2 eggs into the “well”, and slowly add into rice mixture until eggs are scrambled into rice mixture, add soy sauce to your liking. So easy and yummy

    Chop smoked polish sausage, add pepper strips, onion, pineapple chunks and saute.
    Add Sweet and sour sauce and serve on a bed of rice.

  6. Add cream of chicken soup and some cheddar cheese. Sprinkle crushed ritz or club crackers mixed with butter on top. If you have any kind of chicken, cook the chicken in it at 350* for an hour or so Covered with foil.

  7. Add a piece of cut up cooked chicken, pork, or Italian sausage. ( Your choice ) some peas or green beans garlic, olive oil, a litte salt, pepper, and butter. It’s fast, easy and delicious.

    3 Tablespoons cornstarch
    1 pound flank steak, cut into thin 1-inch pieces
    1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
    3 Tablespoons packed light brown sugar
    1 Tablespoon minced garlic
    2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
    2 Tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
    4 cups small broccoli florets
    1/2 cup sliced white onions

    In a large bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water. Add the beef to the bowl and toss to combine.

    In a separate small bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 tablespoon cornstarch with the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and ginger. Set the sauce aside.

    Heat a large nonstick sauté pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil and once it is hot, add the beef and cook, stirring constantly until the beef is almost cooked through. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the beef to a plate and set it aside.

    Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the pan and once it is hot, add the broccoli florets and sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is tender, about 4 minutes.

    Return the beef to the pan then add the prepared sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until the sauce thickens slightly.

  9. Tomato rice. Tomatoes chopped 3-4, olive oil, minced garlic to taste, salt pepper. Cheese, ideally fresh mozzarella pearls chopped or farmers thick mozzarella shredded. Refrigerate the other stuff then add rice while it’s hot.

    This is a “from the garden” farmer meal we’ve had in the family for many years

    Also excellent to keep the kitchen/house cool but have a hot meal

    We take breakfast sausage or Italian sausage browned, zucchini, garlic, onions…mix with rice. Put stuff in inside bell peppers bake with buttered breadcrumbs or cheese on top! 😋

    Cook hamburger and onions, cook rice (our use cauliflower rice), mix with hamburger/onion, add corn and onion soup mix (only add enough moisture to incorporate soup mix). Adding shredded cheese is optional.

  13. I make protein bowls. Rice..ground turkey..seasoning..sautéed peppers and onions (could do other veggies as well!) some sort of low sodium sauce. Could do chicken as well. 💜

  14. Sauté some chopped ham, onion, celery … throw the rice in with some butter. Take off heat (or very low heat) and add a scrambled egg to make it creamy. Delish fried rice!

  15. So normally if I have left over rice after the day I’ve made something with it I make my husband fried rice, now to just reheat it I’ve made a pan fried chicken or even just baked chicken with basic seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder and place it on top

  16. It wouldn’t be a meal but it’s one of my faves to do with leftover rice. Sweet breakfast rice. Put milk in a bowl with your rice, add brown sugar and cinnamon. Microwave until the rice absorbs some of the milk and it starts to thicken like oatmeal. Top with fruit. So so yummy!

    I had rice with eggs bell peppers mix for breakfast at my cousins house it was good

  18. for breakfast- sugar and milk mixed with it 🤌🏽 heat up the rice either before or after everything is mixed in

  19. I heat up a can of cream of chicken soup leave a little thick and use on rice as gravy one of my favorites

    If you have leftover rice make rice pudding made with raisins, cream, sugar, and eggs. Otherwise put in vanilla rice with some fruit.

  21. Add 1.5 cups sour cream, 1.5 cups shredded monterrey jack or mozz cheese, small can of green chiles or corn. Mix, put in casserole dish, top with a little more cheese and bake until heated through.

    if you have 2 cups of cooked rice, you can make an easy one pot quickie version of chicken broccoli casserole. just sir in some condensed soup (1/2 can with 1/4 can milk) of your choice. (i like cream of celery), some steamed broccoli, chicken pieces cooked with onions, garlic, finely chopped celery and salt pepper to your pref… heat to simmer and serve with a lil parm on top

    -cold cooked rice
    – drained can of corn
    – diced tomatoes
    — diced cucumber
    – A drained can of tuna
    -olive oil and red wine salad dressing.
    Serve cold on a hot day

    fried rice balls are amazing as a side, chicken and rice with sauce(i usually just thicken chicken broth and the juice from cooking the chicken) and just season to your liking and add whatever veggies you want, cook and cut up chicken add it to the rice with diced onions and add some teriyaki sauce whatever veggie you like i usually do corn or peas or broccoli add a little extra seasoning if you want to. those are my family’s favorites

  27. Did you season the rice? I always season my water before I cook my rice to go with my meal. Pick any protein and mix in 2 veggies, or do a rice soup

    Cut up chicken breasts into tenders (clean them up) and season them well and cook them on the stove, add some honey all over and then reseason and add your fav buffalo sauce. Once the chicken is fully cooked you can spread the sauce over your rice. (Itll be a red-brown color from the sauce) it’s a nice spicy sweet

  29. I like to do a cooked chicken and veggies with some kind of sauce or bits of cream cheese all over simple but super yummy!

  30. Scramble 6 eggs, mix together with rice, salt & pepper to taste. (You could also cook & drain 1 lb breakfast sausage and add to the rice & eggs).

    Stir fry whatever veggies you have in the fridge in bacon grease and add the rice to it. Simple, easy and cheap.

  32. 1) fried rice- finely chop any vegetables you like, cook in a frying pan with soy sauce, a dash of sesame oil, garlic and ginger. We also throw in leftover chopped meat sometime (ribs are really good lol). Scramble in 2 eggs and finish with sliced green onions. But honestly it’s the best leftover recipe because you can add whatever you want to it. Onions? Sure. No onions? That’s ok too.
    2) there is a restaurant we used to go to in a different city and now I recreate this recipe. 1 large flour tortilla, sliced cooked chicken, fresh spinach, thinly sliced red onion, sliced Tomato. Pesto-mayo and white rice.
    Put all the ingredients in the tortilla and roll up like a burrito- grill until lightly toasted. Sounds weird- best wrap of all time. So filling.

  33. My mom used to make what our family called Spanish rice. Just rice, bacon and tomatoes or tomatoe juice. I change it up by adding sliced jalapeños and diced onion. Ground beef may be substituted for bacon. My mom preferred that. Top with grated cheese!

    I like to fry leftover rice with your favorite seasonings, green onion and bacon grease as a side or for breakfast 2 over easy eggs

    Crockpot chicken and gravy

    Ingredients

    2 packets chicken gravy mix
    1 can cream of Chicken Soup
    1 can of water
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
    (I did not measures the seasoning, I just put a good coating on the chicken)
    3 whole chicken breasts , boneless skinless (about a pound)
    1/2 cup sour cream

    Instructions
    Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, black pepper, paprika place in slow cooker. Wisk together the water, gravy packets, soup, until smooth
    Pour mixture over chicken
    Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
    (Mine cooked 4.5 hours)
    When done, carefully remove chicken, shred or cut as desired.
    Whisk the sour cream into the slow cooker until smooth and serve over chicken. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste if desired… I didn’t add any more.

    Serve with mash potatoes, rice, stove top stuffing, or egg noodles

  38. Chicken fried rice . Chopped chicken, garlic, a little ginger and whatever you have on hand. Soy sauce and a little something spicy. Stir fry and voila
