    Gr.hamb cooked
    Spagetti sauce
    Diced Tom.
    Cheddar cheese
    Mushrooms ( optional )
    Salt pepper,garlic Italian seasoning

    Cut Zucchini in half put upside down in pan baking dish w water. Steam

    Flip over when soft

    Comb. Hamb ,tom.,sauce , mushroom , bring to boil.

    Spoon hmb mixture on top of Zucchini top w/ cheese

    Bake til cheese melted

    Only freezes well to use in baking. Liquid in it separates so doesn’t keep the same texture

    I recommend whatever you do,
    Peel most of it and avoid the seeds! They tend to get tough and woody when they get that big!

  5. Look up zucchini fritters-yum, chocolate zucchini cake, zucchini bread. Slice the zucchini l, bread it, and fry it-serve it with cheese sauce. Fry up some bacon and some onion in the bacon grease, shred the zucchini and throw it in the pan to cook. Make zucchini boats stuffed with cheese, cooked sausage and an egg to hold it all together. Make zucchini muffins. Use bread crumbs, cheese(your choice), an egg, and shredded zucchini to make zucchini tots.

    Grilled Zucchini Pizza
    Ingredients

    1 large zucchini
    ½ cup butter, melted
    3 cloves crushed garlic
    ½ cup mozzarella cheese
    ½ (14 ounce) can pizza sauce

    Step 1
    Slice the Zucchini into thick rounds. Combine the melted butter and crushed garlic in a small bowl. set aside.

    Step 2
    When the coals on your barbeque are almost burned down, lay your zucchini slices on the grill. Let cook for three minutes then turn over and brush the butter/garlic mixture on each slice. Cook for three more minutes and turn over again and brush the other side with the garlic and butter.

    Step 3
    Cover the slices with pizza sauce and cheese and let cook until the cheese begins to melt.

    Boil with water, onion, bacon and canned tomatoes salt and pepper until tender. Can also add yellow squash to it.

  8. You can dehydrate them into a healthy chip with seasoning on them or dehydrate them and put them into a food processor and make flour to make breads. Spread them for zucchini bread grill them

  9. I add grated zucchini (as well as broccoli stalks and other veges) to the mince for shepherds pie or spaghetti sauce.

    Slice them in 1/2” circles and bake them on a cookie sheet. So yummy! You can grate them and freeze for zucchini bread.

  14. Cut into 4” slices. Scoop out about 3” of the middle and fill with the same filling you use for stuffed peppers. It’s so good and they freeze well for quick work week suppers.

    With zucchini that big…..I do a zucchini parm just like I would do an egg plant parm…..I do rounds, than use, flour , egg wash, seasoned bread crumbs, fry , than layer & bake like u do a parm….👍❤️

    My Mom would cut, flour (seasoned), egg, n breadcrumb them then fry until golden. I add a pinch of salt after they come out of the oil. 😋

  17. Never had luck with anything but slices breaded & frozen on cookie sheet, then freezer wrapped or grind and make bread, cake, put in everything & anything as a nutritious filler that doesn’t change the flavor at all. (Meatloaf, soups, gravy, )

    Stuff zucchini cut them long ways scoop out the seeds and then brown hamburger or Italian sausage add a jar of pasta sauce and fill the zucchini and bake till tender. Put some water in the pan and you can add cheese on top at the end if you like

    This was always a big hit with company.

    I have a recipe for zucchini relish if you would like. Tastes just like hot dog relish.

    I have shredded them and froze them. Perfect for using in baking. We have also made zucchini relish, mustard “pickles” using zucchini. I have made zoodles and used it as spaghetti and have sliced them thinly length wise and used in place of laslagna noodles.

  23. They freeze nicely for later use. Just chop into the sizes you want, place in a freezer bag and freeze! Great for soups, zucchini pizza, etc.

    I’ve made breads and muffins that freeze well but I’ve never had success freezing them by themselves

  25. I shred mine and then freeze for breads and coffee cakes. When I thaw I have to drain but it works well for baking.

  26. Peel them…..cut them up and add butter and already cooked bacon in aluminum foil….put them on the grill! Super good

    TOTAL TIME: Prep: 20 min. Bake: 45 min. YIELD: 6 servings.
    A co-worker shared this chicken zucchini casserole recipe that was originally her grandmother’s. When I make it, I use pre-cooked chicken from the grocery store and fresh zucchini my neighbor gives me from his garden. —Bev Dutro, Dayton, Ohio
    Ingredients
    1 package (6 ounces) stuffing mix
    3/4 cup butter, melted
    3 cups diced zucchini
    2 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
    1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1 medium carrot, shredded
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup sour cream
    Directions

    1. In a large bowl, combine stuffing mix and butter. Set aside 1/2 cup for topping. Add the zucchini, chicken, soup, carrot, onion and sour cream to the remaining stuffing mixture.
    2. Transfer to a greased 11×7-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with reserved stuffing mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until golden brown and bubbly, 40-45 minutes.

    Zucchini bread! Slice up, do an egg wash and bread them like fries then cook in the air fryer, scoop out long ways and fill with taco meat and bake🤤

  30. I shredd them, put them in freezer bags — about 2 cups. Put in freezer. When it gets cool out make bread. It will have some liquid into the bags so I just put that into my recipe & add a little more flour. Yummy.

  31. Zucchini boats with sausage and cheese. So good. You can partially cook them and freeze them (thought not necessary to partially cook)
