My current addiction is Salsa I even went a bought a blender for it I found one …

My current addiction is Salsa🤦🏻‍♀️ I even went a bought a blender for it😬 I found one recipe I like. But how do you make yours?? I’m bored with mine:: whole peeled tomatoes, ground cumin,lime juice, cilantro and jalapenos. It’s yummy just wanna try something new. Also amazing queso cheese dip recipes would be amazing. I can’t figure it out. Thanks🖤

  1. A simple salsa verde is
    I lg can drained tomatillos
    1 jalepeno
    1/2 an onion
    2 cloves garlic
    Handful of cilantro
    Pinch or two of salt and a squeeze of lime if your like.
    Blend
    I also double this recipe and cook seared pork riblets in it for chile verde pork tacos
    And occasionally add extra jalepenos and an avocado for a creamier version.

    I use fresh tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, zest and juice of limes, Trader Joe’s has a seasoning called Cuban Citrusy Garlic. I personally don’t like spicy so leave out the jalapeños.

  3. I do whole peeled tomatoes and the juice, yellow onion and poblano pepper, cilantro, and a few ice cubes (chills the salsa without watering it down). Blend and then I add lime juice, garlic salt and pepper to taste.

    First thing is to lightly coat 2 jalapenos, 1 quartered oeeled onion, and 2 cloves of garlic in oil. Place on baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes or until softened. Then chop the onion, seed and devein jalapenos and chop, chop the garlic and put into a blender. Cilantro is optional. Then add cumin, mexican oregano if you have it, salt, juice of one lime, and ground coriander. I don’t measure anything I do it to taste.

    I chop tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, a couple serranos and/or habaneros, & cilantro then add fresh squeezed lime juice, minced garlic and salt & pepper. No measurements I just do it until it looks right 😆

    Use green tomatoes and make salsa Verde. Very similar to how you make it with ripe tomatoes, so you wouldn’t have to buy anything “special”
    I throw red, orange, yellow and green bell peppers in mine when I’m blending everything.
    I use peppers for heat other than jalapenos too. Poblano ones have excellent flavor, and a mild mannered heat to them.

  7. Uncle Tom’s bean dip! Take a small block of Velveeta and cut it into cubes. Add it to a bowl with a small can of refried beans and a small jar of salsa. Microwave it in one minute increments stirring in between. Once it’s all melted together put it in a small crock pot and serve with chips. It is so easy and so good!

  8. I use diced canned tomatoes, garlic, fresh jalepeños, onion, cilantro, salt to taste, and put it all in the blender. Before blending I add a couple drizzles of olive oil, a pinch of sugar and some oregano leaves. Blend, adjust seasonings and it’s done.

  9. Peel an onion and quarter it. Cut the top off an jalapeño and seed and devein. Peel 2 cloves of garlic. Put in a saucepan and add a little water. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for a few minutes. Set aside to cool. Pour a 28 oz can of whole tomatoes in your blender along with cilantro, salt and lemon or lime juice. Add the cooled vegetables and water. Pulse in blender until desired consistency. Grilling the vegetables or roasting them in the oven adds more depth of flavor, but takes a little longer to do
