  1. Mackayla Jean LaPlante

I use butter alternatives or brush with oil and I put a cup of water in the microwave and put it in for like 20-30 seconds if it’s fresh

  2. Tomatoes, avacodo oil, refried beans but not the low fat ones.. there’s a cilantro lime vinaigrette. Just depends on what time of burrito and taste.

  3. Sauted peppers and onions? Or any omelet worthy veggie. I do this with egg bites when i don’t use cheese for the same reason.

  4. Normally I wrap them in a damp paper towel in the mircowave for about 3 mins and flip half way through. If it’s individual wrapped burritos then I put a small cut across the seam of the bag and stick them in for 1.5 mins to 2 mins depending on how big they are.

  5. Make a white sauce/gravy using non dairy coffee creamer, oil, and flour. Season with taco seasoning

  6. You can run them briefly under water until damp then fill. Heat and serve immediately or store in a tightly covered container until needed. Or, as Darlene Seeley suggests, add some salsa (or picante sauce) over the top.

  7. Plain Coconut or almond yogurt with cilantro and lime and an avocado. It’s creamy and very delicious.

  8. I’m also egg and dairy free. I use guacamole, salsa, and tomatoes to give my burritos some moisture. Tonight I tried a vegan queso that is also soy free and it was awesome, only $4 too.
