I recently started couponing and being VERY diligent on shopping for sale items only. It’s paying off!
What if I told you this meal cost me about $10 for two plates? (my husband and I) 🙌🏻😁
Huge steak was on sale for just under $8, cooked that with steak seasoning and basted with butter and garlic.
Instant mashed potatoes were on sale for $0.49 and I added shredded cheese that I had on hand to make them creamier and less powdery.
Green beans were $1.49 for a small bag. I simply sauted/steamed them in a pot with butter and a LOT of lemon pepper seasoning.
And for the sauce I just used the steak bits at the bottom of the pan I cooked it in, added butter, milk, a couple random spices and a corn starch slurry to thicken it into a gravy😊

Looks great 👍 I think you should up your coupon game though I spend less than 500$ a month on a family of 5 on groceries using coupons, price matching and sales and cash back apps in Canada. I use my bank to calculate costs and that 500 includes my alcohol 🍺 purchases lol and my cupboards are packed I have a big fridge packed and 2 freezers full.
