I got my first crockpot! (I got it at a great deal too at $24.00!) I cook for myself and 2 teenage boys. I need some ideas, we buy beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp. We are trying to eat healthy as well. So we are trying to avoid a lot of processed things.

I’ve had a lot of people ask me where I got my crockpot, I got it from BoxLunch! I did have coupons for it.

thank for the original creator Izzy Vorderbruggen

BBQ blueberry pulled chicken sliders ( this is a weird combination, but it won at a 2015 blueberry festival in Burgaw, NC and my family and others absolutely love it) 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sometimes I use boneless skinless chicken thighs, or I’ll mix a couple of breasts and a few thighs),,,,1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (I use the G. Hugh’s No Sugar Added either hickory or honey flavored, cutting the carbs),,, 1/4 cup Italian dressing (I like it better with raspberry vinegrette),,,1/3 cup brown sugar,,,1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce,,, 1 cup fresh blueberries,,, juice of 1 lemon (strain out the seeds). Lightly spray Pam in bowl of crockpot. Place chicken in crock pot. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover and cook 4 hours on high. Turn off the cooker and shred/pull chicken apart with forks. Let sit for 30 minutes. Serve on Hawaiian slider rolls or other favorite buns with coleslaw made with mayo, salt, pepper, and 2-3 packets of Splenda or a teaspoon or 2 of sugar. My family likes it with potato salad on the side. Also good with corn on the cob and tater tots and baked beans

  14. Crockpot meals with teenage boys is a lifesaver. I used to just cook meats and make different meals from them. Do a basic seasoning. Cook chicken, pork or beef and shred, use them for tacos, enchiladas, pulled pork, beef or chicken sandwiches, sliders, casseroles.

I just made Hawaiian chicken in crockpot last night. 3 to 4 chicken breasts pit some pineapple slices on bottom out two cups of sweet baby Ray’s Hawaiian bbq and layered with rest of pineapple slices. Then shredded it and served with zatarans caribbean rice. It was so good and super easy
