I dont have a cheap meal idea but rather a question about a dessert that was at a function I attended. It was soooo good and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was and had a recipe for me. Really couldnt find much online but the middle was kinda like cheesecake but maybe softer? Id really appreciate it if someone could help me out!! This is the picture I took of it

    No-Bake Banana Split Cake – Don’t Lose This
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. confectioners’ sugar
    pinch salt
    4 bananas
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping {or homemade whipped cream}
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained & patted dry with a paper towel
    Melt 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) and blend in graham cracker crumbs with a fork until evenly moistened. Press into the bottom of a 9×13″ pan.
    With an electric mixer, blend remaining 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter with cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and salt. beat 3 to 4 minutes until fluffy. Spread mixture over graham cracker crumbs.
    Slice bananas and arrange evenly over cream cheese mixture; top with crushed pineapple. Spread Cool Whip on top of pineapple; sprinkle with chopped pecans and place cherries on top.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 2 to 3 hours, or overnight, before serving.

  3. Omg my mom made this every yr for my bday and she lost the recipe. For years I bugged her to find it. She finally found it this yr and made it for me and look….here it is

Cherries in the snow. 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, one 8 ounce cream cheese, 2 teaspoons vanilla, one canned cherry pie filling, 1/2 cup butter softened, 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 2 cups confectioners sugar, one container whip cream Cool Whip. Combine flour, butter, brown sugar and nuts in a bowl mix well. Spread in eight or 9 inch pan bake 15 minutes 375° cool. Lynn cream cheese confectioners sugar vanilla in bowl fold in Cool Whip spoon on crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Freeze overnight. Serve the next day.

    For the stuff in the inside you could try the jello brand cheesecake, it’s super good. Tastes like cheesecake but not as firm. Also comes with a graham cracker crust to use.

    Banana split desert…. Graham cracker crust follow directions on box… I use the crushed. Filling is 2 eggs 2 boxes of cream cheese and a bag of powdered sugar mixed and pour over crust refrigerate a couple hours them top with cool whip garnish with cherrys, walnuts and drizzle chocolate syrup.
