I bought a produce box and it had these tiny limes (I think, if someone knows what they are please correct me). You can’t really peel them, does anyone have any recipes for these…or ideas for what I can do with them?

  1. They look like key limes. You make key lime pie with them. You will need a lot more then three to do it though.

    Agua De Limon (Mexican lemonade) for 1 liter use 10 limes 1 cup of sugar & water. Squeeze all 10 limes in pitcher with 1 cup sugar add water & mix till sugar is dissolved. 😋

    We use limes pretty much in everything cut in Half and squeeze in soups tacos everything

  4. These are walnuts the husk is over the nut. Open husk you will see nut shell then crack open.

    Key Lime Cake

    1 (18.25-Ounce) Package Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
    1 (3.4-Ounce) Package Lemon Instant Pudding Mix
    4 Eggs
    ½ Cup Water
    ½ Cup Key Lime Juice
    ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
    2 Cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
    ¼ Cup Key Lime Juice

     Combine first 6 ingredients.
     Beat 2 minutes at medium speed with an electric mixer.
     Pour batter into a greased & floured 13×9 x2 inch pan.
     Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
     Let cake cool in pan on wooden rack.
     Remove from pan and turn over. Serve in same pan or place on cake server.
     Insert small holes in cake with skewer or handle of wooden spoon.
     Combine powdered sugar and ¼ cup Key Lime Juice.
     Drizzle over cake.
     Cut into squares.

    Yield: 15-18 servings.

    They’re Mexican limes and u can do anything with them that u would do with ordinary limes. We make limeaid all the time and key lime pies from time ti time , i love the tartness. Y

  9. I just moved from the keys and we would make key lime cookies at Christmas and send them out to family back in Michigan delicious!!!

    Key limes are good for boiling eggs👍I put 3 frozen ones to a dozen of eggs and the eggs peal almost perfectly

  11. Are they walnuts? If it is walnuts they will get dsrk and the shell will crack and you can crack it open and take out the walnut to use.

  12. These look like lemon. Are they very sour? If yes, we get these in India. We use it for a lemonade or putting it on salad, anything bland.

    Key limes- key lime pies, or those little cookies that are like a wedding cookie . You can giggle the recipes. They are both good.
