I am sick of the same old recipes I make for dinner! I am looking for new ideas as I’m going grocery shopping tomorrow.

    Chicken thighs in the crockpot with 2/3 cup brown sugar and 3 cloves of minced garlic. Cook on low for 6 hrs.

  9. Sante fe chicken/pork. Dust meat with taco/fajita seasoning. Put in greased pan. Top with 1 can corn that has been drained, 1 can black beans rinsed thoroughly, 1 can rotel or 1C salsa, 1 C shredded cheese. Cover and bake 350 x 45 min. Uncover and bake 15 min more.

    Get on Pintrest and pick things that look good save the recipe and write down all the ingredients, this is what I do

    Make a meatloaf mix, press it into a muffin tin- bottom and up the sides but leave hollow- fill with cheese or anything else, top with mashed potatoes and bake like usual meatloaf.

  16. Beef and cheddar crescent….
    Roll out two rolls of dough..press seams together.
    Brown a pound of burger
    Add 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
    Place burger mixture on top of dough….leaving edges free to be folded up over the meat.
    Before folding the dough cover the meat with cheddar cheese.
    Bake 350 for 35 mins.

    1# 80/20 ground beef
    1 onion chopped
    1/2 beef bullion cube
    1/2 C water
    Peppe to taste
    1 1/2T soy sauce
    1 1/2T steak sauce

    Cook beef and onion, crumble and drain. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer 30 min stirring occasionally. Serve on buns with pickles and ketchup/mustard.

  18. Easy enchiladas. Chicken (or any kind really) taquitos, cover in enchilada sauce and cheese. Then bake in the oven.

    Being diabetic, I know the monotony of same old food, day after day.
    I looked up Taste of Home Diabetic recipes. Found alot of “new foods” to try, or at least new ideas for same foods.

  20. Layer in greased pan: meat that has been dredged in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Top with sliced onions, sprinkle with flour, top with sliced potatoes, sprinkle with flour, can top with peas/carrots/green beans, sprinkle with flour. Mix 1 can cream of something soup with 1/2 can chicken or beef broth. Pour over meat/potatoes mix. Bake 350 x 1 hr. Meats you can use: cube steak, pork cutlets or chops, smoked pork chops or ham steaks, chicken pieces-bone in or boneless. May need to double soup/broth depending on thickness of meat or how many servings. Freeze in foil pans with lids. Thaw in refrigerator before baking.

    Cheap and Easy:: BISCUIT CASSEROLE:: Ingredients= 4-pack of biscuits, ground meat(your choice), cheese(shredded), 1 jar or can spaghetti sauce. Prepare= put 2 cans of biscuits in a casserole dish and bake as directed. Brown your meat & drain. Add sauce and stir to combine. Pour over cooked biscuits. Cover sauce/meat mixture with shredded cheese. Put the other 2 cans of biscuits on top and bake as directed.

  22. Cheesy goulash: hamburger browned with onion, cooked elbow noodles, tomato soup, velveeta
    Hamburger stroganoff: hamburger browned with onion, cooked egg noodles, cream of mushrooms soup, sour cream
    Pizza Casserole: hamburger browned with onion, cooked rotini noodles, 2 jars pizza sauce,. Mix everything together and put in 9×13 dish, cover with pepperoni and shredded cheese bake at 350 for 35 minutes.

  23. Marinade: 1/2 C each: soysauce, olive oil, honey/molasses/brown sugar, 1/4 C lime juice/ACV/rice vinegar, 1T each: chopped gsrlic, cilantro, 1t ginger. Bring to boil and cool. Marinade chicken/pork/lamb 1-4 hrs. Broil, grill or sear meat.

  24. Taco pasta/rice casserole. Brown hamburger with chopped onion and green pepper add corn and black beans both drained and a can of rotel tomatoes. Add cooked noodles or rice chopped cilantro and a can of fiesta nacho cheese soup. Mix and bake in a greased casserole dish until hot and bubbly. Add cheese on top and bake until melted.

  25. Teriyaki chicken. Cut chicken breast into chunks and brown. Add onion green pepper thinly sliced carrots and pineapple chunks. Top with teriyaki sauce and simmer until veggies are tender. Serve on rice or ramen noodles with a side of broccoli.

    Get a bacon ranch suddenly salad and add chicken or ham, tomatoes, cheese and whatever else sounds good to you.

  27. Oven scrambled eggs: grease a half sheet pan and add 1/2 stick butter. Place in oven. Preheat oven to 300 (butter will melt). in lg bowl crack 20 eggs, 1C milk/half & half, 1C cooked crumbled and drained sausage/bacon/ham, 1C shredded cheese. You could also add 1 C defrosted shredded or cubed hashbrowns. When oven preheated carefully remove pan and add egg mixture to pan. Put back in oven. Every 7-10 min stir with oven proof spatula scrapping the sides and bottom of pan. Remove from oven when eggs are just set. Eggs will continue to cook when cooling. After 10 min cut in squares for breakfast sandwiches on muffins, toast or buns. Can be cut in strips and rolled in tortillas for breakfast burritoes. You could substitute chorizo for sausage and add 1 C pinto or black beans that have been rinsed thoroughly.

  28. Roast beef salad: 2 C cubed roast, 1T onion, 2T sweet pickle relish (2 sweet pickles +1T sweet pickle juice) place in food processor and pulse 10-12 times or grind together. Dressing: 1/2 C miracle whip, 1-2T yellow mustard, 1T horseradish, 1T sweet pickle juice. Stir dressing together and mix with meat. Left over pork roast could also be prepared the same way.

  29. Shake N bake with pork or chicken, roasted potatoes that are shaken with herb and garlic lipton. Shake them the same way as the protein, in a bag. Potatoes will need a little oil

  30. Coconut curry chicken and rice. Cut into chunks and brown a boneless chicken breast or 2. In a medium sauce pan add 1 can coconut milk use can to measure 1 can of water and 1 cans of rice. Can of corn drained 2 tlbs butter and curry to taste I use a tablespoon. Add in chicken bring to a boil stir cover and simmer until rice is tender about 20 min. Add some dried red pepper flakes I for some spice.

  31. Jalapeno popper dip: wearing vinyl gloves remove stem seeds and ribs from 6 jalapeno. Remove stem from 1 jalapeno. Cook and drain 1/2# bacon. Cut bacon and jalapenos in 3rds and place in food processor. Pulse several times to chop. Put bacon and jalapenos in crock pot. Add 2 bricks cream cheese, 1 C milk/half & half, 1 C sour cream/greek yogurt/mayonnaise, 1 C shredded cheese (whatever you have on hand). Can also add 1C frozen corn or 1 can corn that had been drained. (I think 1 can of black beans rinsed thoroughly might be good too!) Heat on low and stir occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips.

  32. I just made some boneless skinless chicken breast in the crockpot and used some Buffalo wild wing sauce it was actually really good
