Do not be anxious about just about anything, but in every problem, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all being familiar with, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I do this same recipe for grated coco yam. Don’t know the name of it, but it’s delicious just the same.

Thank you for all you do ,I am enjoying your video. when ever I try making Akara, it comes out flat, odd shapes , and burnt, each time I put a new scoop of beans into the frying pan the new scoop floats and attach to the other ones in the frying pan. what a mess! . do you have to press out the oil , I use peanut oil
teal is is very soothing color, I love to wear teal
I am learning more about my Yoruba roots that go back to Nigeria. We make a dish similar to this. I can see how the traditions are even in what I know. Amazing. I can't wait to make these!
The whote bowl is a lovely swan 🦢
Well done ma for this video. Was it the longer period of soaking the beans that made it fluffy or plenty oil while frying? I want to know that secret.
Thank you
Sis Yemisi.U are blessed. Tried out my akara this weekend, it came out great for the first time. Thank you for the tip about putting enough oil in the pan. 😘😘
I want KARAKA now too🤣🤣🤣
The 2nd bowl is a Swan and the other one is the Flamingo.
Not "karaka" though 😄😄😄 kids are the cutest. Before my son could speak properly, he used to call shawarma "shayaman". His first milkshake was homemade and some days later, he was asking for banana juice 😄😄. We had no idea because we had never bought nor given him banana juice till I was sitting around one day and it suddenly occurred to me, "oh my God, there was banana puree in the milkshake that's why he called it banana juice".
D beans is so clean. Nice one
Pls how can I download the book
Pink small one is flamingo, the white one is a swan 😆
Please what type of beans, can I use honey beans? My akara ends up not getting brown but it's tasty. Please I want to know why?
Can you share the link to the pots ?
I have been wanting to make Ankara since, but procrastination will not let me. It’s about time I make it
