How do y’all season your chicken quesadillas? My mom told me just fry your tortilla cook the chicken and throw on some cheese. But that seems so plain😩. I am no where near a pretty good cook. I can make edible food but not the kinda food you crave after a while. I’m sensitive to spicy things than your average person. Does anybody have any tips

Cumin , garlic powder , onion powder , Chile powder , green chiles , mix all that with your meat . Add shredded cheese , pro tip add a layer of cream cheese on one side in the inside . (I also like onion and bell pepper in mine )Butter on both of the outsides. Then cook . Dip in Tostitos cheese in the jar . Or if your feeling extra , one can of rotel , small block of velveeta, little milk . Microwave and stir every minute-2 minutes till melted for easier clean up .

We do mozzarella cheese, chicken and green onion 💖 with Salsa and sour cream on the side 😋 for the chicken they have so many non spicy options! We like the pink salt, pepper and any poultry seasoning.

  3. I take ranch and Taco Bell’s hot sauce and mix it together and spread it on the tortilla before I put chicken and cheese on it and it tastes just like the ones from Taco Bell

  4. Mix chicken with salsa and cheddar cheese soup and then put into tortilla shell and heat up.

  5. I use bbq chicken leftovers, diced onion, cheese. Grill tortillas like grilled cheese sandwiches. Serve with refried beans and salsa

  6. I put montoray jack quaso dip on tortilla add chicken pieces and your choice of shredded cheese, or whatever meat and cheese or veggies you’d like. Top with other tortilla and warm on griddle. If you’d like outside crispier you can melt butter in pan before warming. Then top with whatever you’d like. I put sour cream, taco sauce or picante sauce and lettuce

I put my chicken in the crockpot with 1/2 a packet fajita seasoning and some salsa — high for 4 hours and shred. Then heat the tortilla with chicken and shredded cheese in it. It’s so good 🙂

  8. I use lawrys season all and lawrys garlic salt on the chicken and pepper , then in the quesadilla shredded cheese , some queso or nacho cheese and ocasionally sour cream or salsa but I use those to dip them in not inside

  9. Pulled rotisserie chicken with a little taco seasoning, or left over steak/taco meat.
I usually put the tortilla in a pan with a little butter, then my first layer of cheese (let that begin to melt), the chicken and anything else I may want to add (onions, green peppers, mushrooms, etc.). Then I add the last layer of cheese and the 2nd tortilla.
Depending on what I put into the quesadilla, the cheese could be anything. My family usually prefers sharp cheddar and provolone. Salsa and sour cream on the side.

Walmart sells the Taco Bell Chipotle sauce they put on their quesadillas and other menu items, and a little bit of taco seasoning just to keep things simple!

  11. I like adding bell peppers and onions even olives. Use butter to fry its crispy. And salsa sour cream and guacamole

  12. I buy premade chicken breast (usually for salads), and use Taco Bell sauce. (The kind t they use in their quesadillas)

  13. For the stuffing, first cook your best chicken curry. Then shred the chicken pieces and mix with some cream cheese. Coat the outside of the quesadillas with butter or olive oil and use a quesadilla maker to cook them. Try this for the chicken curry: fry around 1 tsp of minced garlic and ginger in oil, next brown one chopped onion. Following that, add 1 cup tomato sauce or purée you have. Then add 500 gms chicken and 2 cups water and cook until done. Don’t forget salt. You can surely adjust the recipe to suit yourself.

  14. Throw some taco seasoning on your chicken as frying it and boom! Super simple but super flavourful.

I reccomemd frying up some onions with the chicken as well 🙂

  15. You can use any kind of meat. Once I used Philly cheesesteak (cooked it up before adding it to the tortilla) LOL and I put sour cream, cheese, cilantro, garlic salt and tajin on mine.

I only use melted butter, salt, pepper. Garlic powder, sometimes Italian seasoning, and a tiny bit of.minced onion cooked with chicken. Then I use garlic butter to brush on shell, put chicken in it, use either colby jack, monterey jack.or just plain cheddar cheese with it, fold shell in half and bake this a light golden brown and it’s done.

  17. I use Mrs. Wages canning salsa mix for my spice for anything Mexican. I just take a table spoon and sprinkle how ever much I want on my meat. Then I add a can of rotel to my diced up chicken , simmer the juice mostly , out then make the quesadillas with chicken and cheese inside. I sometimes sauté some bell peppers and onions and add those as well

  18. I cut up chicken pretty small and saute it with lots of garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add in finely chopped onions and peppers. Then add in frozen corn and half a can of black beans and a few squirts of lime juice. Put a layer of cheese, chicken mix, and then cheese again on the tortilla. So good!!

Put 2 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot. Salt and pepper to taste preference. Take 2 cups of your salsa of choice (I use mild since I’m not a huge fan of spicy stuff, either) and mix in one tablespoon each of cumin and chili powder. Pour over the chicken and cook on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is falling apart (could probably cook on low for longer, but I’m typically at home so I want it to cook faster). Shred the chicken and put back in to soak in more flavor. Then make your quesadillas the way you like them. This also makes delicious nachos.

season chicken with garlic salt, black pepper, cumin, cilantro, chili powder, pinch cayenne depending on desired spice level. fry in some oil in bite sized pieces, i like to remove when it’s done then add more butter to deglaze then pan and then put the chicken back in to coat it with all that yummy flavor. set chicken aside. fry tortillas in remaining butter and drippings, add cheese and chicken let melt then fold and serve!

  21. I cook my Chicken add Taco seasoning, fryed onion, garlic and grated cheese fold over and fry till slightly crisp, love quasadillas not had the for a while think I’m guna make some this week x
