Help! I’m going to a fish fry & they want us to bring sides & I have no idea what to bring. There will already be pasta salad, potato salad, & deviled eggs! Also not sure how many people.

Cheese grits, corn nuggets or hush puppies or cornbread, french fries, coleslaw, fresh salad. Condiments for dipping fish such as hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, tartar sauce, lemon slices! Onion rings, baked beans, fried green tomatoes for something different.

Theres a salad mix you can get that has kale and other veggies in it that has a poppyseed dressing that’s so good. I get it at walmart

  12. Lisa Charles Hess

Macaroni salad, corn salad, Cole slaw, hush puppies or corn bread, French fries, tater tots, onion rings, vegetables and dip, fruit and dip, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, or green beans.

Heat up a large can of crushed pineapple add large box of any flavor jello I prefer cherry or lime dissolve once dissolve let cool but not firm add large container of cool whip and large container of cottage cheese ( I don’t even like cottage cheese but I Love this! ) let refrigerate over night or until firm ( I have been known to put in freezer to cool faster 😂) it is a salad but taste like a dessert ! Everyone will be asking you to make again and again 😃

  14. Sounds so weird but spaghetti noodles, cucumbers, and an entire jar of ranch then let get cold. It’s absolutely amazing and a great summer salad!

  15. Bean salad or cukes and onions. Vinegar dressings will make it easy, keep it safe, and go well with fish.

  16. Coleslaw? We take prepared cabbage mix but can chop your own- only add garlic sugar and mayo here (we like it sweet) and done- but pretty inexpensive- should probably keep in a cooler tho-

Or take a dessert! Like rice Krispies, brownies, cookies, cupcakes! (Judt thinking of all the things we see at our fish fry we do every year ) coleslaw would be good.
