Taco dip. Cook chop meat, add taco seasoning, canned refried beans. Mix together, place in pan top with shredded cheese (can you Mexican cheese, sharp whatever you like), place in oven long enough to melt cheese. It is so good. You can also top with or have dishes of shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olives etc after it is cooked.

  5. Hormel chili with no beans and cream cheese. 1 block per 1 can for how many you want to serve. Just heat in micro wave…doesn’t look the prettiest once mixed..lol…but always a party favorite

Wisconsin version of taco dip: mix two bricks of softened cream cheese with a 16 ounce tub of sour cream until fully incorporated. Mix in a packet or two (to taste) of taco seasoning. Spread this out on to a thin layer on a tray. A pizza pan or cookie sheet or a large platter of some sort. You can use a large casserole type dish too. Next spread a thin layer of shredded lettuce, usually iceberg, over the pink spread. Then a layer of shredded cheese. Then garnish with diced tomatoes, sliced green onion, and sliced black olives.
Some people also add a layer of seasoned ground beef (browned with taco seasoning according to the packaging) but I prefer it without the meat. Serve it cold.
