Not sure if it qualifies as a main course but I love making “sliders” for an easy pack and go cooler item!
I use a pack of kings Hawaiian rolls, spread butter (or mayo, we prefer it with mayo) with slap ya mama sprinkled on, brown sugar ham and some Swiss cheese! Feel free to add mini pickles or anything other toppings!

Chips fruit snacks veggies and dips fruit and dip sliders sandwichs potato salad Mac salad candy trays with all different stuff to put on it

  3. main course… lightly grilled fresh sardines with plums and peaches and a green salad dressed with extra virgin olive oil and served with dark rye sourdough bread……

  4. Make 3 or 4 pinwheel /wraps cutt in half, fruit cups or containers of grapes( you can freeze grapes to keep cold. Couple bags of chips

  5. take a tortilla, spread with ranch, top with thin sliced ham or turkey lettuce and shredded cheese, roll up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap, let set in fridge for a at least 4 hours, eat whole or cut in pinwheels.

  6. Make some cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats, for sharing. Maybe pinwheel, sub sandwiches, my favorite is just a ham and cheese sandwiches. Maybe some chips.

  7. I used to go buy a rotisserie chicken and pull the meat off (or just make shredded chicken at home), then made BBQ chicken sandwiches for picnics

Did you know you can fill a cooler with corn pour boiling water over them and they’ll cook. I buy frozen extra sweet mini corn cobs and thaw out then put in cooler. Now another way is to cook them put in cooler pour over melted butter.
