Are there any pasta salad recipes without Italian dressing? And no, I don’t want to make my own Italian dressing. We don’t like the sour/bitter taste.

  1. Rotini or penne Pasta, mozzarella cheese pearls, basil, tomato, salt and pepper and balsamic vinaigrette

  2. Kimberlee Gumphrey

Mayo and sour cream based or mix sour cream with powder ranch dressing for the base.
Use what pasta, veggies and cheese your family prefers

I make a chicken pesto pasta salad, I buy a jar of pesto at the store and mix it with Mayo until I get the consistency I like. Toss that with pasta, chicken, tomatoes, whatever you have/want.

  4. Carolyn Diedrich Schatz

Cooked spaghetti, cucumbers, black olives, cubed cheese, green onions and whatever else you like mixed up with Honey French dressing.

  5. Chicken pasta salad. 2 cans of canned chicken. Box of pasta(penne, rotini, wheel shape). Mayo, pepper. Cook pasta according to packaging. While that’s cooking, in a separate bowl, mix chicken, mayo, pepper together. Drain pasta, rinse with cold water. Mix pasta in chicken mixture. Put in fridge for minimum 2 hours. Mayo is just eyeballed.

  6. Macaroni salad, one box elbow noodles cooked to aldente, chop pickles, chop onion, chop black olives, chop hard boiled eggs, 1/2 cup Mayo 1/2 cup miracle whip season to liking

  7. I have had it with Catalina dressing before and it really good – just has a more sweet flavor.

  8. Olive Garden garlic Parmesan ranch is good with rotini, cold chicken cubes, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, cherry tomatoes

  9. I use a box of the original suddenly salad. But I don’t follow the direction. Make the noodles as directed. Then for the sauce, mix the seasoning packet in the box with the juice of 1 lemon and about 1/2-3/4 cup ranch. Once noodles are cooked, rinse with cold water then add to bowl with dressing and toss to coat. I always add these veggies but you can do whatever… 1 diced red bell pepper, diced English Cucumber, diced red onion, halved cherry tomatoes, handful of chopped baby spinach, 1 pkg mozzarella pearls or if I can’t find those I’ll do a tub of the mozz balls in the marinate, I just drain and half them. Oh and some chopped up fresh basil.

Pasta, Mayo, tuna, salt & pepper… can add celery, sliced green or black olives, sweet onions, and cherry tomatoes to taste.

This is what I do. Everyone who has ever eaten it, loves it.

Grilled chicken, pasta of choice, can of black olives, diced pickles, diced cheese cubes, grape tomatoes.

Sauce is mayo, small amount of mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Throw it all into one bowl, mix, and chill.

  12. I do usually use Olive Garden’s Italian dressing but I found some sun dried tomato pesto the other day at the store and decided to try that. Mini bow tie pasta, black olives, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, full jar of pesto, garlic olive oil, and feta cheese. Turned out very good. I did add some balsamic vinegar to the pesto jar just to get all the pesto out and add some more liquid to the salad bc it was a little dry and I wish I’d gotten a bigger bottle of the pesto. But it wasn’t enough to make it bitter.

Any pasta salad that calls for Italian you can do ranch dressing or I do Mayo, with a touch of sugar, salt and pepper. And sometimes I just gets a pkg of ranch seasoning pkg and mix up. If it’s kind of Mexican pasta salad I’ll even add a tsp of taco seasoning to some dressing . We don’t like Italian dressing in ours either

Use whatever salad dressing you like. I use combinations such as Greek and Caesar or Asian and Ranch.

  15. I use mayo with a couple tablespoons of pickle juice..fusilli pasta, cubed ham, cubed cheese, cubed pickles…mix together…huge hit at my house and so simple

Greek pasta: one box penne cooked, mix 2/3 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup lemon juice, and 3 tablespoons of cavenders Greek seasoning and add to pasta. Add a small container of feta cheese and cut grape tomatoes. Delish!

  17. I’ve done it with pepperoni, peppers, black olives, tomato’s, Italian seasoning, garlic, Parmesan, red wine vinegar and olive oil.

  18. Try mayo and a bit of jalapeno juice 😋 add
    Black olive
    Sun dried tomatoes
    Rotini noodles
    Dill weed
    Fresh diced jalapeno
    Crispy fried bacon crumbled

I dislike oily ones. And cold pasta. But I found one. Jalapeno popper pasta salad. Ranch, garlic, lime juice, bacon, rotini, jalapeno. Found on pinterest. I absolutely love it.

  20. I use olive oil and white wine vinegar. Spices are oregano, dill, garlic powder. Salt and pepper.

  21. Cook your Pasta. Add chopped peppers cucumbers and tomatoes to your liking. Add to pasta along with saltbpepper and mayonnaise
